
Mrs. Baker's class participated in Ag Day today that was sponsored by Washington County Extension Office and many other local supporters. Kids learned a lot about farm safety, ag related facts, farm facts, and got many hands on experiences today!











Today, 5th graders traveled to Manhattan to visit the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Students learned about the unique features of the flint hills and were challenged to design a windmill. We also got to stop at Call Hall for ice cream!











Your Tiger golfers are TVL Champs! With our low round of the year a 338! Monte Huckett and Carson Kearn led the way with 82's. (Monte's PB) Miles Miller finished the day with an 85. Tucker Huband shot a PB 89. Noah Hoover and Grayson Votipka both finished with a 93. This was our nicest day of golf this season, and we were able to capitalize. Regionals is on Monday, let's go Tigers. Thanks for the support so far this season!

Here is a collaboration project that involves Atticus's love for art and a woodworking project he built. He built this stool out of dimensional lumber and it looks neat with his custom pencil sketch on the seat. Good job, Atticus!

Anna, Kenzie, Addy, and Kiersten won the 4x400 relay and set a new school and TVL meet record
Addy won the 100m and 300m hurdles breaking the 300m hurdle record
Jesse won the javelin with a throw of 138'7"
Lillee won the pole vault title for the third time in her career!
Kenzie won the 800m run with a season best

Gavyn with a similar nightstand as Macie but his was finished naturally. I like the way oak looks with just polyurethane on it and no stain. Gavyn did well on his project. Way to go, Gavyn!

Second grade had a great day in Manhattan on our field trip!! We visited the K-State Insect Zoo and Sunset Zoo. The children loved seeing all the animals and even got to watch a few being fed. A special thanks to the PTO for sponsoring our trip!

Students in STEM made bottle rockets that we shot off yesterday. They learned about aerodynamics and had a lot of fun!











The 8th grade went toured the state capital building today in Topeka! It was a great way to really learn the history of Kansas









Muffins for Mom was a fun event in Kindergarten today. Moms were treated to muffins, juice, plants, and a craft. Thank you moms for joining us today. We hope each of you has a wonderful Mother's Day on Sunday.









Today Thrivent treated our staff to drinks from Cup of Joy. Thank you Thrivent for delivering yummy drinks to us for Staff Appreciation Week!


Thank you to the Brandon Hayman family for bringing the elementary staff doughnuts for staff appreciation week! They were delicious.


A huge thanks to FNB for providing us with brownie sundaes yesterday. It was a great treat for the end of the day. FNB served treats as part of our staff appreciation week.


It was another great day for the 🐅 track teams at the TVL league meet! The JV girls won their division, JV boys finished second, varsity girls finished as runner up, and varsity boys 9th as a team. Two league records broke, school records, personal bests, and medals galore! ⚡️🐅⚡️on to regionals next week!


The 4x400 girls relay ATE! They broke their own school record and the TVL meet record with a time of 4:08.88 ⚡️🐅⚡️


Congratulations to Addy Goeckel breaking the TVL meet record in the 300 hurdles with a time of 45.59! ⚡️🐅⚡️


Mrs. Walter’s second grade students became published authors in a book called “Animals Around the World!” The students are very proud of their work and loved sharing their pictures and reading the stories that they wrote with their classmates and families.
