Miss Tryon’s 5th grade class would like the thank Stewart Seed for all of their support this year as our Classroom to Careers Sponsor. With your generous donation we were able to purchase a soundbar, headphone holders for desks, knight masks for our Don Quixote Unit, and more privacy offices.

Our last unit in 5th Grade ELA covers the Renaissance. This was perfect opportunity to collaborate with some 8th grade art students working on a PBL project. These girls led 2 lessons with different aspects of the Renaissance. Students created a “modern” Mona Lisa and then a sculpture to symbolize their time in 5th grade. It was great to see the creativity of all the students!
