The lady tigers traveled to Axtell last night to take on Axtell and Clifton Clyde. The tigers started out strong against Clifton Clyde by taking them to three sets. 15-25, 25-21, 20-25. The ladies fought hard but fell short with the strong Axtell team. 25-16, 25-8. The athletes are showing improvement every game, and things are starting to come together. Great job ladies, staying strong and never giving up against such strong TVL competition.

The hills on the Marysville's Golf Course provided a good challenge for our high school xc runners and none of them backed down. Brody was our top finisher and medalist at 5th place, Garrison was 22rd, Atticus was 32nd, Tucker was 36th, Lucas was 46th, Ryan was 47th, and Garrett was 52nd. This was a great start for our Tiger team.

We had 3 high school girl runners today for our first xc meet. It was a great start for these girls. They gave 100% effort and they should be proud of themselves. Kenzie medaled in 5th place and Kiersten medaled in 14th. Charley came in 48th place. Keep working hard girls!

Our junior high began their xc season at the tough Marysville Golf Course. It's a very hilly 2 mile run but all of our Tigers gave 100% effort. Nora was our only medalist for junior high. She was 4th, Madison was 7th, Bella was 13th, Libby was 14th, and Janessa was 16th. On the boys side: Lyle was 14th, Emery was 15th, and Coy was 16th.

What a night to be a tiger fan?! The Ruby Reds had a great time cheering the tigers on for the W and entertaining the crowd at halftime with a dance routine. Cheer along with us, clap with the band, and let the tigers know we're backing them in the stands! See you in Frankfort next week and then homecoming!

The WCHS Football team starts the season with a bang at home! Big 46-0 win against D-West ending early in the 3rd 🐅🏈 Shoutout to the best fans in the TVL Bruce and Steph Wetter for their continued support! #betigerstrong Go Tigers!

Mrs. Hedke's 3rd grade class has a new mascot, meet "Thunder".
We also want you to see what we have been doing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). These students completed a Theme Park STEM project and today they presented their billboards to the class. I love seeing everyone thrive from hands on learning. 3rd grade ROCKS!
