The annual WCHS FFA Alumni fish fry and auction are underway. Always such tremendous support for our local FFA program.

Parents/Guardians of 2nd and 3rd grade students: Don’t forget to send a hat, any kind of hat, with your student to school next week! We will be starting to design for our “Trashion Show” soon! Also, don’t forget to have them save SMALL trash items like broken jewelry, ribbon scraps, and any other “trash” to decorate those hats with!


The 4th and 5th graders had a lot of fun at the Lincoln Symphony Orcheastra's Young People's Concert today!!! Thanks for funding or trip, PTO!!!! Also want to thank the #unl #studentunion for letting our kiddos hang out and eat their sack lunches. They had fun!





Junior High Scholars' Bowl Meet is HERE tonight! Meet starts at 5:00pm - parents and fans are welcome! Please note that you can NOT enter a room once a round has started so please be on time. Rounds take about 15 minutes - and you can always go into a room between rounds. Cheering during the question rounds is not appropriate - however clapping at the end of a round certainly is!!

Another meet in the books, boys did good, placing 4th overall and Cody Metz placing 2nd individually. Next meet will be in Topeka and Gage Bowl on Tuesday, Feb 18th


The high school comprehensive art class helped the Mrs. Peters’ kindergarten class make Rubik’s cube Valentine boxes! What a fun partnership! Happy Valentine’s Day!




Kindergarten thru 6th grade parents/guardians...Here are just a few of the things your students will be rescuing from the trash for our “Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle project! Please help them collect these items and others to use for their upcoming “Trashion Show” in April. They will be bringing home notes with more information today!
