Come out this Friday for some entertainment and dessert!

Track meets aren't just for running fast, throwing and jumping far or high, and hanging with the friends. It's also a time to relax and read. 8th graders Aubri and Maci take a break to do some reading during the meet. Smart Tigers!

Senior Lady Tiger Addy Goeckel was on fire today at the Belleville Lions track meet. Addy set a season best in the 100 hurdles by running a 15:56, was a member of the second place 4x100 relay, was a member of the winning 4x400 relay (with a 61 second split), and had a season best in the 300 hurdles while also breaking the meet record by running a blazing 46:32!!! Way to go Addy!!! Keep up the hard work!

The Washington County High School track teams showed up today at the Belleville Lions Meet to take care of business!!! The Lady Tigers came away with the team title while the Boys got third!!! Great Day for the Washington County High School Tiger Track teams!

Chayse built a walnut "barn door" style nightstand. He made his hardware from clothesline pulleys, nylon spacers, and aluminum bar stock. It turned out cool. Good job, Chayse!

Ryan built a neat live-edge elm table. He learned about half-lap joints and that doing them on "X-style" legs can be fun and challenging. This project was a great way to use some of our live-edge elm. Nice job, Ryan!

Gavyn with a walnut live-edge hat rack. He routered and painted his name in the walnut to make it unique. This walnut is from the lumber we milled last year. It turned out well. Good job, Gavyn!

We are started in Seneca @ Spring Creek Golf Course. 21 teams today. Kansasgolfscores will have a live leaderboard.

Mrs. McCall is still looking for volunteers that would like to help with the Freshman Orienteering Day at Onaga on Wednesday, May 7th. Please email her for more information!

There will be a FBLA meeting, Thursday, April 24th in Mrs. Bruna's room.

What a nice day it was at Belleville Country Club! The golf team had a bit of an off day, but as coach I was very proud of them for keeping their heads up and grinding out some solid scores. Tomorrow, we travel to Nemaha for their invitational starting at 1. Congratulations to Washington County's very own FFA State Band Members. Cayden Meadows (sophomore) was selected as a percussionist. Zoe Sawin(freshman) was selected as the Bari Sax player. Both will be attending State Convention at the end of May and performing at the State convention. We are proud of their willingness to step outside of their comfort zone and send in their auditions. Now they will have the opportunity to audition for the national FFA band.

The Junior High track team will go to Clay Center on Tuesday. The field events all start at different times so the schedule of events and who all will be participating in what is included.

Good Morning Everyone, Here is your weekly newsletter. We hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. See you on Wednesday!

The eggs are stuffed and ready for Saturday. The Easter bunny helped the FBLA members stuff eggs these last 2 weeks. We hope to see many children and former students at the courthouse Saturday at 10am for the Easter Egg hunt!

Gavyn is pictured with a beautiful oak desk that he built. It turned out well, and it will serve him for years to come. He worked hard to build this and other projects in one school year.
Good job, Gavyn!
