
The WCHS Track teams competed at home for the first time this year and performed extremely well! Lots of improvement, personal bests, and one school record broken again! The 4x400 relay broke their own record just set Friday during KU Relays today 4:08.97 ⚡️🐅⚡️


Another windy Spring day in Kansas must mean we have a track meet. The junior high kids performed very well. Most of the kids are really figuring out their events, some are still figuring out that there is a lot of technique in track and field events! Included is the link for complete results.

Reminder... team picture day is TOMORROW, so bring your uniform and we DO NOT have practice tomorrow, but everyone has a job to help at the high school meet.

Junior High track meet tomorrow at Valley Heights. Students will eat school lunch early because we leave at 11:30. Meet information is attached along with the events for each athlete. The events have not been posted in the locker rooms yet.







Current preschool students who are preparing to head to kindergarten had a Fun Friday yesterday! We visited the Washington County Recycling Center for an educational tour. We then went to "big school" for lunch (thank you, PTO for buying our lunches!) We also visited Kier's grocery store this week!








Kiersten Tholstrup and Gavyn(🍔)LeDuc competed today at the state powerlifting meet in Claflin. Both earned 5th place in the squat. Kiersten won the clean and 4th overall! 🐅💪🏻 #TigerStrong







Our 3rd grade participated in a letter exchange with Hanover using Pony Express Riders. A huge thanks to the Kansas Division of the National Pony Express Association.




The girls finished the day at KU by breaking the school record in the 4x4! 4:09.57 ⚡️🐅⚡️







The Girls 4x100 set a new PR in the KU Relays with a 52.36! ⚡️🐅⚡️

Gray or black Richardson hats can be purchased in an extra large size for the same price. Continuing to give back to our community. Today it was sprucing up the park.




Monte built a farmhouse-style dining table out of cedar for a member of the community. He did a great job and I am proud of how he took the job on and ran with it until it was completed. It turned out great and they will enjoy it for years to come. Good job, Monte!

Cool and windy at Mankato for the Hwy 36 JH Invitational. Today our teams brought home top 3 finishes in 19 events and we had 32 PR's which is great considering the weather and on Monday we had 39 PR's. Our goal is to always display sportsmanship, give full effort, and to improve. Our JH tigers are rockin' it!
