WCHS BB heads to Onaga tomorrow (2-14-25). Because Friday is a Holiday (Valentine's Day), Onaga was unable to find officials for both gyms so they will play all games in the New Gym utilizing only the Varsity officials. Games will now start at 4:00PM rather than 5:00PM and played in one gym on a rolling schedule. Go Get-Em Tigers!

I'm a litte late in posting results from our latest meet, WCHS Boeling team went to Emporia Tuesday afternoon with 4 other schools, both boys and girls finished 4th with great improvements in their games. The othe 4 teams were top 5 and 6A teams in the state so even tho we finished 4th, I am extremely proud of our bowlers and excited about our chances coming up with regionals. LETS ROLL TIGERS!!!
USD 108 is closed today due to weather conditions. Stay safe and warm.

Alert: Open Gym will be OPEN from 3-4 PM. Thank you Kelsie Beikmann!

Today was a fantastic day for the future of our Washington County Band Program. We battled through some illness today, missed a couple good friends due to illness but all in all today was a success. Thanks to our fantastic bus driver Paula, some very lucky 5th-8th grade students spent the day in Holton at the Holton Honor band festival. 21 musicians from Washington County joined roughly 250 other 5th-8th grade students to rock out with a few new directors.
White band featured our first year students. Blue band featured 2nd year, and Purple band was a combination of 3rd and 4th year players.
Oh and even a few of us directors got in on the fun thanks to the white band director. I debuted today as a bird soloist. We were amazing. Band directors are truly just big band geeks...
You can check out the program at this link.

And if you want to catch the live stream videos (there are two). You can Hope over to Mrs Abigail J Sawin 's personal page.
Congratulations!! And thanks to all those who made the day possible.
