Mrs. Bakers's class another great week, we celebrated 2 birthdays, finished up fall diagnostics, practice flashcards, worked with compared numbers to the ten thousands place, worked to write a personal narrative, talked about how Americans have changed throughout history, identified nouns, action verbs, and adjectives, and of course had fun playing with our friends.









Please be aware: thunderstorms are expected to hit Washington around 6:30-7:30pm based on the weather forecast as of 4:30pm today (8/29/24). In the event of lightening and/or thunder, we will not be able to have our outside activities this evening for Meet the Tigers/Soap Scrimmage. Hopefully the thunderstorms stay away and everything can run as originally expected. Please be aware of this as the evening unfolds.

Students in Earth Science are learning about the sun. Today we modeled chemical combustion and nuclear fusion to determine which is responsible for the sun's energy







Mrs. Goeckel's First Graders started the year with some team building fun! Each round had a different challenge and way their team had to work together to stack the cups. They did amazing!






Elementary parents, the Ruby Reds will host the football little tigers clinic on October 10th to perform on the 11th! Registration forms will come out later, but get it in your books now. ❤️🖤🤍


Students in biology have been testing a material for evidence of life this week. Is it living, nonliving, dead, or dormant?










Check out this beautiful walnut dining table that Korey built last year in his woods class. He did a nice job and that table will have many a fine family meal served on it for years to come. Good job, Korey!


What a great morning for practice, the rain pushed out just in time. 2 more practices until the Jamboree.







FCCLA officers attended the Take AIM Conf in Manhattan. Team building, group meetings, workshops, and speakers filled the two days of activities . They gained great ideas and new skills to share with our chapter members.



Beautiful morning for a run! (Just missing a couple this morning)10 high school and 12 junior high kids have been working hard and putting in the miles. Everyone will practice Wednesday morning at 6:30 am to beat the heat. Meet the Tigers is Thursday evening starting at 5:00!






All XC will practice at 6:30 am Tuesday morning. That includes high school and junior high.
Shirt order forms will come home tonight.
Also, all runners are expected to be at Meet the Tigers introductions Thursday evening. We will meet at 4:45 for Meet the Tigers.
