The Sooner The Better!

The 2024 FCCLA National Conference has been a whirlwind so far. After a very early (late night) departure, we are in Seattle, experiencing this city for the first time for all of us, the first time flying, experiencing public rail service, the conference and the Cheesecake Factory for some of us. Mt St Helen's and Mt Ranier are beautiful. And it's 70 degrees. We love it! Today, we had state meetings, the opening general session, and practice. Attached are some photos from our first day.

Just a few photos from our first 2 days at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando. We have experience many firsts for the students--first plane ride, first taxi, first time in an ocean, and first escape room ( which we solved with 5 minutes to spare--solve rate was 15%). Tomorrow(Sunday) is when the students all compete. Send them good thoughts and prayers for a successful day. We also get to attend workshops and an expo. We plan to post more tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who purchased at our concession stands, bake sale, and shirt sales. We couldn't be here without your support!

A message from your Washington County High School music instructor....
Big upgrades are coming to the band program courtesy of Dr Tracz and the KSU marching band!! Our percussion line is getting a major upgrade for the 2024-2025 marching season. Four bass drums (16", 22", 28" and 30" in diameter) with brand new heads for optimal sound!!
I can't wait for the kids to show off the new gear and new marching skills! If we haven't met yet, please reach out to the school and I would love to meet you in person and show you all the new exciting things happening!
From the newest member of the Tiger Family~
